Books have always been a big part of my life. I started devouring books at a very young age, relishing the adventure, beauty, and hidden truths. Not only did I read stories, I told them. My siblings would beg me to tell them stories to pass the time on long car drives, and I accordingly fabricted the most fantastical, thrilling stories, as only a young mind can imagine. This childhood imagination did not die, but only grew more intentional and focused as the years have gone by. The joy I find in crafting stories that others can enjoy and relate to is deeply rewarding to me. I know that words are both powerful and beautiful, and my aim as I write is to harness these qualities to communicate transcendent truth and beauty through wholesome content. When I'm not reading or writing, I can often be found playing music or caring for the sheep and other animals on my family's farm!

I couldn't be complete in what I tell you of my writing if I didn't also mention the underlying force that defines and drives my creative work—and everything else about me. I am a Christian author, and my love and joyful duty for the Lord Jesus guides and directs all that I do. Biblical themes of redemption and hope are often woven into my pieces, and, while I don't shy away from tackling hard themes like death, grief, and sin, I seek to address these themes in such a way that offers hope and a joy that defies the deepest sufferings. The world needs voices in the realm of creative fiction who will offer wholesome, godly content that edifies, uplifts, and directs our gazes upward to higher and greater realities.
